- Paneer (Indian Cottage Cheese) 160 grams
- 1 small chopped Onion
- All-purpose flour (maida) 2 cups
- Bell pepper (Capsicum) ½ cup chopped
- Mozzarella Cheese ½ cup chopped
- Black pepper powder ¼ teaspoon
- Roasted cumin(Jeera) powder 1 teaspoon
- Oil to fry
- Salt to taste
How to Make Paneer Doughnut Snack Recipe
Step 1
How to prepare dough for Paneer Doughnut Snack Recipe: In a bowl add all-purpose flour, ¼ tsp salt, 1 teaspoon oil, add water in parts and begin to knead a firm dough. Cover the dough and keep it aside for 20 minutes.
Step 2
How to prepare Paneer donuts Recipe stuffing: In a bowl add grated paneer, chopped bell pepper, chopped onion, chopped spring onion, salt to taste, black pepper powder and roasted cumin powder (you can also add chaat masala). Mix everything and stuffing is ready. Note: We will add mozzarella cheese later in this recipe.
Step 3
Prepare dough of Paneer donuts for rolling: Check dough after 20 minutes and give quick 30 seconds massage to dough before rolling. Divide dough in half and make flat round shape by rolling in into thin sheet (thickness should be same as samosa sheet). If needed you can dust surface with all purpose flour to roll the sheet thin.
How to prepare sheets for Paneer donuts snack: Cut all the sides using knife and make it into rectangular shape. Now cut again in 4 equal parts in rectangular shape. Take out the rectangular shape one by one and keep them covered. Take one of those rectangular shapes and apply water on one side. How to cook or fry Paneer donuts snack: Heat kadai or wok on low medium heat and add oil. Add prepared paneer donuts in oil and fry on low heat for 3 to 4 minutes. Then increase the heat to medium and fry until it turns golden brown. Take it out in a plate.
