Paneer Vermicelli Snacks Description

Paneer Vermicelli Snacks Ingredients
- 2 large boiled potatoes
- 120 grams grated paneer (Indian cottage cheese)
- 120grams fine roasted vermicelli
- 1 tbsp yogurt (curd)
- ½ inch ginger
- ¼ cup all purpose flour (maida)
- 1 small green chili
- ¼ tsp black pepper powder
- 1 tsp chaat masala
- Pinch of red chili powder
- Oil for deep frying
- 40 grams cilantro (coriander) leaves chopped
- Salt to taste
How to Make Paneer Vermicelli Snacks
Step 1
Make thick paste of cilantro, green chili, ginger and yogurt. In a bowl add boiled potatoes, grated paneer, prepared paste, chaat masala, black pepper powder, salt to taste and bread crumbs. Mix well and stuffing is ready.
Step 2
In a another bowl, add all purpose flour, black pepper powder, red chili powder and mix dry ingredients. Add little water at a time and make thin batter.
Step 3
Crush roasted vermicelli. Take 1 tsp prepared stuffing and make round ball. Prepare rest of the balls in the same way. Dip balls in the batter first (use one hand for the batter) and then coat balls with vermicelli (use other hand). Coat rest of the Paneer Vermicelli balls in the same way.
Step 4
Heat oil for deep frying on medium-high heat. Gently add one by one (make sure not to over crowd). Stir after 3 minutes and fry them until they golden brown from all the sides. It will take about 6 minutes to fry. Drain on a paper towel and serve hot with your favorite chutney.
