Silky Paneer – Masala Paneer Curry Recipe

Here is a quick method of making paneer masala without compromising the taste. Follow step by step instruction to make this silky paneer.
Ingredients for Recipe
- 400 grams paneer (Indian cottage cheese)
- 4 green chilies
- 1 medium chopped onion
- 1 medium chopped tomato
- 1 tbsp dried fenugreek leaves
- 10 cloves of garlic
- 1 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tbsp garam masala
- 10-12 cashews
- ½ tsp kashmiri red chili powder
- 30 grams cilantro (coriander) leaves chopped
- Salt to taste
- 4 tbsp olive oil
- 150 ml water
In a grinder add cashew, onion, tomato, green chili, garlic and some water. Make thick puree.
Heat wok or kadai on medium heat. Add 1 tsp fenugreek leaves and prepared puree. Give it a good stir and sauté for 5 minutes. Add turmeric powder, salt to taste. Keep stirring continuously for 5 minutes. Add garam masala, kashmiri red chili powder and cook for 3 minutes. Add 1 tsp dried fenugreek leaves and chopped paneer. Coat paneer really well the spice. Add 150 ml water you can adjust as per your desire. Mix well. Cover the lid and cook for 4 minutes.
Turn off the heat. Remove the lid and garnish with chopped cilantro leaves. Super quick and super flavorful silky paneer is ready to serve. You can enjoy silky masala paneer with roti, naan, puris or rice.
