Indian Style Macaroni Pasta Recipe Ingredients

  • 1 cup/ 130 grams macaroni
  • 2 medium finely chopped tomato
  • ¼ cup diced carrot (gajar)
  • ¼ cup finely chopped green beans
  • ½ cup red, green bell pepper (capsicum)
  • 3 cloves of garlic minced (lehsun)
  • 1 tsp sweet chili sauce
  • ½ tsp chaat masala
  • ½ tsp cumin(jeera) powder
  • 1 tsp cumin(jeera) seeds
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 ½ tbsp olive oil
  • 1 inch minced ginger (adrak)
  • 1/8 tsp black pepper (kaali mirch) powder
  • 1 tbsp tomato ketchup
  • 20 grams finely chopped cilantro(coriander/dhaniya) leaves


How to Make Indian Style Macaroni Pasta

Step 1

Heat pan on medium heat, add 1 ½ tbsp olive oil. In hot oil add 1 tsp cumin seeds. Allow them to sizzle. Add 3 cloves of minced garlic and 1 inch minced ginger. Sauté for 20 seconds, add1/4 cup diced carrot and ¼ cup finely chopped green beans cook for 2 minutes. Add ½ cup chopped bell pepper/capsicum (red and green) and sauté for 1 min. Add 2 medium finely chopped tomatoes and cook until they turn soft.

Step 2

Add ½ tsp cumin powder, ½ tsp chaat masala, and salt to taste. Mix well, add 1tsp sweet chili sauce, 1 tbsp tomato ketchup give this good stir. Now add boiled macaroni (I have boiled 1 cup of macaroni with ½ tsp salt and few drops of oil, little oil will prevent macaroni from sticking and clumping together). Mix well; add 1/8 tsp black pepper powder, some fresh chopped cilantro (coriander) leaves. Give this all a good mix. Easy and delicious Indian style macaroni is ready to be served. Enjoy eating hot!
